Hi, I’m Kristan Haver, the owner and host of Central Colorado Getaways. After years in the Aspen and Carbondale area, I settled in Chaffee County, where we’ve proudly called this beautiful part of Colorado home for more than a decade. My husband grew up in Buena Vista, so it’s wonderful to be back and raising our family here. We love the relaxed pace of life, the breathtaking Mountain views, and the sense of community that makes this valley so special. It’s a place that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy the best of Colorado living.

My years working in luxury private homes and hospitality in the Aspen area taught me the value of thoughtful details, genuine comfort, and warm hospitality. As a third-generation working in Aspen’s luxury home and hospitality industry, I was fortunate to learn from my mom and grandmother, two incredible women who showed me what exceptional care and attention to detail look like. During my time in Aspen, I worked in private residences for several high profile entertainers in the music and film industry, where I learned the highest standards of privacy, meticulous preparation, and five star service. Those experiences shaped my hands on approach and deep appreciation for creating spaces that feel both welcoming and beautifully cared for.

I treat every home with the same care and attention I give my own vacation rental, making sure each one feels welcoming, spotless, and beautifully prepared for every guest. My goal is to give every guest the best experience possible — one that makes them want to return again and again. I take great pride in delivering a true 5 star getaway every time.
